While in Florida, we decided to check out Lakes Regional Park. It was awesome! It was train themed. There was a small train museum, but the playground was even shaped like a train. I took Erin on a train ride that she adored, and Sara got to go swinging (but we don't have pictures of that).

Erin on the Beach
In February, we went to Florida to visit Grammy and Papa. Almost from the moment we stepped off the plane, Erin wanted to go to the beach, so Daddy and Papa took her. She loved it, and had so much fun playing in the sand. It's amazing how her impression of the beach changes every year. She didn't enjoy the beach nearly as much last year, and I'm so happy she had a good time, despite the cold weather.

Ear tubes
Sara had tubes put in her ears yesterday. Poor girl has had so many ear infections in a short amount of time and both ears were really infected even at the time of her surgery. We're hoping this will end the cycle, or at least let some of the nasty stuff drain from her ears!!!
She was in such a good mood, despite not being able to eat since 8 pm the night before.

She was such a ham and a charmer while she was getting checked out by the nurse for admission.

First Biter Biscuit
Last weekend, Todd went to the gym, and Erin was "napping." I needed to keep Sara entertained so I could make some food for our football get together with my sister. Sara doesn't do well with finger foods. She can pick them up but won't put them in her mouth. So for kicks, I decided to give her a biter biscuit and a sippy. Surprisingly, she did well with the Biter. Not so well with the sippy, unless you consider well the dropping game. (Drop sippy. See if Mommy picks up. When she does, wait until she turns around, then drop sippy again. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.)

Planks
If I could do planks as easily as Sara does, I'd be a lot thinner. That's for sure. Sara will do them when she stops crawling, and she'll stay that way. The other night she was crying and crying, but wouldn't stop planking. Honey, if you're tired, stop. You can rest a bit.
But it's so cute when she does it.

And she wouldn't give up on the Vikings' ball either. I think this girl is in for a lifetime of disappointment from her football team.
